Meet The Team

BethC

Bethany Card

Office Manager

Bethany joined the Evergreen Dental team in 2020 after spending more than a decade as a stay-at-home mom. She became our Office Manager in early 2021 and plays an essential role in ensuring the practice runs efficiently. Bethany is dedicated to providing exceptional support to both our patients and team, particularly in managing insurance coordination and financial services.

An Oregon native, Bethany enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and exploring new places. She and her husband share a busy, joy-filled life with their blend of five children and two dogs. When she’s not at the office, you can find her at CrossFit, working on home projects, traveling, or spending quality time with family and friends.

KaraB

Kara Bartlow

Patient Coordinator

Kara is a long-time friend of Dr. Travelstead and started at Evergreen Dental in 2021. She is our scheduling specialist, and she works hard to make your visits at our office easy and convenient. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and supports our staff with her therapeutic bodywork. Kara is a lifetime Oregonian and currently lives in Corvallis with her identical twin.

In her free time, she enjoys ecstatic dance, meditation, soaking in hot springs, attending community events, and cooking healthy meals for her family and friends. She was raised in Philomath and is happy to be living so close to her family.

NicoleS

Nicole Sequoia

Nicole is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant here at Evergreen Dental. She loves her job and has been working as a dental assistant for over 25 years. She was born and raised in a small community in Northern California and moved to Corvallis in 2003. She has three adult children and a beautiful grandson – all who she loves very much! She lives with her fur baby, Beanie, who she loves to adventure with. When she is not at work she can be found gardening, hiking, backpacking, or spending time with her family.

Bailie

Bailie Burt

Dental Assistant

Bailie has been a dental assistant since 2020 and brings a warm, steady presence to our team. Dentistry truly runs in her family—her mother is a dental office manager, and both Bailie and her sister are dental assistants—so caring for patients has always been a natural fit. She loves helping people feel comfortable during their visits and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every patient.

Born and raised in Albany, Bailie still calls it home today. Family is incredibly important to her, and she especially loves spending time with her nieces whenever she can. She’s grateful to work in a profession she grew up around and enjoys the relationships she builds with patients and families in the community.

Liz is a seasoned dental professional with over 20 years of experience. Starting as a dental assistant in 2002, she excelled for 12 years, including eight years alongside Dr. Travelstead. Liz pursued more education with support from Dr. Travelstead and her family. She graduated with honors in Dental Hygiene from MHCC in 2018.

Today, she's a licensed Dental Hygienist, certified for local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and restorative restorations. Liz has strong ties to Corvallis, having moved there at 13 and graduated from Corvallis High School. Her family includes her husband Jason, their two teenagers, Leah and Cooper, along with two dogs, two cats, and some chickens. Beyond dentistry, Liz loves outdoor activities like gardening, camping, and hiking, making her mark climbing mountains and exploring waterfalls.

Kaela

Kaela Lindsey

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kaela joined our team after graduating from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2024 with her degree in dental hygiene. Her connection to Evergreen Dental runs deep—her mom worked here years ago, and Dr. Travelstead has known Kaela since she was just three years old. Growing up in Philomath, Kaela is grateful to now serve the same community she calls home. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health and enjoys building long-term connections with the families she serves.

Kaela lives in Philomath with her boyfriend and their two dogs. She loves spending time outdoors—especially hunting—and is very close with her family. She also gives back to the community by volunteering as a coach for Philomath High School volleyball, as well as coaching club volleyball.
